In celebration of 50th anniversary, Armatuuri organizes sports events, and the first sport will be padel! The Padel Sporst Event will take place at Padel Zone Lappeenranta in Huhtiniemi on December 1st from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM.
The event will open for binding registration on November 13th at 12:00 PM. The registration link is here. Please note that there are limited spots available, so make sure to reserve your spot as soon as registration opens!
You are welcome to bring your own equipment, but paddles and other gear can also be borrowed on-site. Don’t forget to bring a water bottle, indoor sports attire, and indoor sports shoes.
You can get to Huhtiniemi by using your own vehicle or public transportation.
The highlight of the event is the padel tournament between the Energy Technology Department and Armatuuri students, where they will compete for the Hotleg championship. The winners will receive fame, honor, and a rotating trophy! Participation in the Hotleg match is optional.

If you can’t make it to the event, don’t worry! Padel Zone offers a student discount for the 2023–2024 season, with courts costing €20 per hour.
